Dr Pramod Anand Tiwari of Babe’s Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Punjab, refers to Doob grass as a storehouse of medicine in Ayurveda. This grass is particularly beneficial for stomach ailments and mental peace.
Drinking Doob juice can resolve anaemia issues and increase haemoglobin levels. Walking barefoot on this grass in the morning and evening can relieve high blood pressure, migraines, and stress, and also improve eyesight.

Durva grass contains ample amounts of calcium, iron, phosphorus, fibre, protein, and potassium. Ayurvedacharyas mention that this grass is often found in parks and walking barefoot on it early in the morning can alleviate migraine pain.
