During the film, the muscular Taylor-Johnson’s character is described by Gosling’s as being “like a Bond villain”.

Perhaps it is an Easter egg nod to the rumours, who knows? As pointed out by Screen Rant, what’s certainly true is that if not cast as 007, he easily has what it takes to play a baddie.

Whatever the case, here’s hoping an official announcement regarding the new Bond is sooner rather than later.
